Future U.S. President Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers) and lawyer Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) go on their first date in the summer of 1989. The film chronicles the summer afternoon when the future President of the United States wooed the future First Lady on a first date across Chicago's South Side.
