Topic: Poisoning Prevention
The Regional Center for Poison Control and Prevention serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides a critical public service – the management and treatment of poisoning exposures. In 2016 we helped over 46,000 individuals and healthcare providers understand and treat poison exposures, ranging from simple to the life-threatening. A large number of poison exposure calls we receive involve adults of age 50 or older. Our services are free, confidential and focused on exceptional patient care and customer service.
Seniors will have the opportunity to ask questions.
