Pink Wednesdays: A Night of Girlhood

Cambridge girls age 14-19 are invited to an exciting new monthly event series that fosters purpose and connection between young women. "I started Pink Wednesdays because I believe that young women deserve spaces to build community, especially at a time when third spaces are disappearing!" says Ari Bonilla, a Youth Connector at CYP who developed the program. "For me, pink represents both my identity as a woman and a shared symbol that brings women together in sisterhood. Pink Wednesdays is about celebrating girlhood and creating a sense of belonging that young queens can carry with them beyond these walls."

Pink Wednesdays will be held the second Wednesday of each month from 7 - 9 p.m. at rotating Youth Centers:

  • Wednesday, October 8: Movie Night at Frisoli Youth Center
  • Wednesday, November 12: Paint Night at Gately Youth Center
  • Wednesday, December 10: Spa Night at Russell Youth Center
  • Wednesday, January 14: Vision Boards at Frisoli Youth Center

Anyone who identifies with girlhood is welcome! Register for Pink Wednesdays.
