Apply to the Cambridge Preschool Program through January 15!

The Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP) will provide free preschool to Cambridge 4-year-olds and some 3-year-olds beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. CPP offers families a single application process where they can apply to a variety of high-quality, Cambridge-based preschool programs. CPP will be free for families interested in a school-day, school-year placement. Extended day and year-round preschool programs are also available for an additional cost for most families.

The Cambridge Preschool Program is a joint initiative between the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Public Schools, led by the Cambridge Office of Early Childhood.
Eligibility
A child is eligible to apply to the Cambridge Preschool Program if:
- They are a Cambridge resident
- They will turn 4 years old by August 31, 2024
- They will turn 3 years old by August 31, 2024
Participating Programs
- Cambridge Public Schools
- Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP)
- Head Start
- Select community based preschool & family childcare providers
