Description

Led by Cambridge’s interfaith-based organizations, non-profit community, and regional partners, this initiative will provide safe and convenient spaces for individuals to voluntarily hand over unwanted firearms without the need for questions or identification. Residents wishing to dispose of guns are advised to notify the Cambridge Police in advance by calling 617-349-6009. The firearms should be unloaded, secured with the safety engaged, and placed in a bag, box, or case. Upon arrival, unloaded firearms can be left in the trunk of your vehicle, where assistance will be available.
