Cambridge Police placed Richard Wheeler, 58, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, under arrest for a warrant out of Somerville District Court for Disorderly Conduct and Reporting a False Crime.

CENTRAL SQ
Ronald Poole, 47, 85 Bedford Street in Burlington, MA, was arrested inside the Central Square MBTA Outbound platform on a warrant issued from the Somerville District Court for Larceny from a Building. Detectives observed Poole standing in front of a bank located at Massachusetts Avenue. Detectives were aware that Poole had a warrant for his arrest, which was confirmed by the Emergency Communication Center.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Lawrence Payne, 58, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was arrested for trespassing at a local establishment on Massachusetts Ave. Payne was observed leaving the establishment when officers arrived in a hostile manner. After speaking with the store manager, she informed police that Payne has been previously trespassed and was very vulgar and inappropriate today when asked to leave. Officers confirmed with ECC that the trespass was originally served by store management and still valid. At this time, Payne was placed under arrest for trespassing.

Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of First and Spring for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The driver was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk, while the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Cambridge Police responded to a Harvard Square business in regards to a past armed robbery. A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects, who also stole the delivery driver’s vehicle.

Stephen Costigan, 29, 153 South Street in Somerville, was placed under arrest for shoplifting and trespassing-related warrants out of Cambridge District Court after he was stopped for shoplifting at a in Porter Square business.
