The Cambridge Police took a report for the unauthorized use of credit cards. A Connecticut resident lost their wallet in Harvard Square to only discover that unauthorized charges were made on their credit cards.

Cambridge Police responded to a business on Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square in regards to a disturbance. An employee and several customers stated that an intoxicated male was inside causing a disturbance and attempting to start fights. Officers located the male (later identified as Tony Smith, 51, 402 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge) outside of the business. Smith was extremely agitated and he kept yelling and screaming incoherently. Smith kept cursing loudly at officers on scene and he refused to calm down. Smith's actions caused a large crowd to gather and watch his tumultuous behavior and he also blocked a busy sidewalk and the entrances to several businesses. Smith was subsequently placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

BROADWAY
A Kia was observed enter the intersection traveling on Windsor Street southbound through a red light and stopping in the middle of the intersection. The vehicle then stayed in the middle of the intersection through the green cycle of the traffic traveling east and west causing traffic eastbound to not move. The vehicle was stopped when it cleared the intersection. A Melrose resident was identified as the operator and was determined to not have a license and was eventually cited and summoned to court for operating unlicensed.

A Cambridge woman observed two unidentified males ignite a Christmas tree, which was on a city sidewalk. The tree was burned. No damage to any residential building was reported. Two individuals matching the description of the suspects were stopped and identified.
