LAMBERT ST
Cambridge Police responded to Lambert Street for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, Officers met a group of individuals who ran outside of Lambert Street pointing across the street to the suspect male who was later identified as Richard Wheeler, 62, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge. The victim stated that Wheeler was on the 7th floor wondering around the area. At this time, Wheeler saw the victim standing in front of his apartment door when he approached the victim and took the phone out of his hand and walked away. Officers were able to put a stop to Wheeler directly across the street from Lambert Street. Officers asked Wheeler if he took the victims phone and Wheeler reached into his bag and gave up the cell phone. While Officers were speaking to Wheeler, he was shouting racial slurs and making inappropriate comments towards the victims. Wheeler was then placed under arrest by Cambridge Police Department for Larceny of a Person, as well as Disorderly Conduct.
