A Cambridge resident called Teleserve to report a past breaking and entering, after unknown suspect(s) entered the apartment sometime in the evening of 1/18/2023 and stole a PlayStation valued at $500. The victim also reports that sometime last week, his black specialized bike (valued at $1000) was stolen from the basement. There were no signs of any forced entry.

A Cambridge resident called Teleserve to report a flim flam. A victim received a phone call on 1/18/2023 about 11 a.m. from a person posing as a federal agent. The suspect scammed the victim of $7,900 with the threat of criminal charges.

Mildred Taylor, 62, 137 Spring Street in Cambridge, was arrested at the corner of Green Street and Magazine Street on warrants issued out of various courts.

WARE ST
Cambridge Police responded with Cambridge Fire Department and Pro Ambulance for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was alert, conscious, and was sent to the hospital while Cambridge Police spoke with all parties involved.

A resident of Jamaica Plain reported her wallet stolen at approximately noon time while inside of a restaurant in Cambridge. Credit cards were fraudulently used at a mall.

A resident of Cambridge reported locking her rented Blue Bike onto the dock station at Linnear Park on January 17, 2023 at 10 p.m. The resident reports receiving an e-mail from Blue Bike that she was late in returning the bicycle. The resident checked the dock station and reported to Blue Bike that the bicycle was not there.

Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Cambridge Street and Fayette Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. While speaking with the involved driver, a resident of Boston was unable to produce a driver’s license. After further investigation, they will be summonsed into court for Unlicensed Operation.
