A resident of Cambridge reported a past hit and run crasht he was involved in while riding his bicycle. The bicyclist was not injured, but stated his front tire was struck by an Uber Eats driver.

ASSAULT W/DANGEROUS WEAPON C265 S15B

CONCORD AVE
Cambridge Police responded to a Concord Avenue medical facility for a reported assault in progress. Specifically, the reporting party contacted ECC regarding an incident between two employees. During said incident, one of the involved employees, who was later identified as Federico Moore, 39, 66 Munroe Street in Boston, took possession of a large knife, while placing the victim in fear, and walked toward the victim while armed with the large knife. The victim fled the immediate area and locked themselves in a nearby room. When Moore vacated the immediate area, the victim alerted other staff members, who then contacted ECC. As a result,Moore was placed under arrest without incident, and will be charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Cambridge Police received an annoying and accosting report.

MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO C266 S28

GARDEN ST
Cambridge Police placed Joseph Donovan, 45, 245 Garden Street in Cambridge, under arrest for Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle after a witness observed Donovan cause damage to four different motor vehicles in the Danehy Park parking lot located on Field Street. After officers were able to locate Donovan, a show-up was completed where the witness was able to positively identify him as the individual who damaged the motor vehicles. Damage included slashing tires, breaking a side mirror, tail light, and passenger side mirror.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police responded to a restaurant on Massachusetts Avenue for the report of a larceny in progress. An investigation revealed that an employee used various tools in an attempt to gain entry to a safe located inside the business. He did not gain access to the safe but there were visible marks on the exterior of the safe and plywood wall. As a result he will be summonsed for the following crimes: Defacing Property, Attempted Breaking and Entering into a Depository, and Possession of Burglarious Tools.
