FIREARM OR AMMUNITION WITHOUT FID CARD, POSSESS C2

RINDGE AVE
Alejandro Trigo, 27, 5 Station Street in Brookline, was arrested after police were investigating a hit-and-run with property damage in the area of Rindge Avenue in Cambridge. Trigo was located in the driver's seat of the involved vehicle parked nearby. After an investigation, a firearm and ammunition were recovered. During the booking process, a whitish brown powdery substance in a glass vile was found around Trigo's neck which was later tested and confirmed to be Fentanyl. During the booking process, Trigo provided a false name to officers and it was then discovered that he had an expired driver's license. Trigo has been charged with Possession of a Firearm without a license, Possession of Ammunition without a license, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Marked Lanes Violation, Possession of a Class A Substance and Providing a False Name After Arrest.

Cambridge Police responded to a pharmacy in Central Square for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Officers located the suspect after she was pointed out by the reporting person, who was an employee. It was discovered that the suspect – Krystal Hill-Scott, 40, unhoused -- had warrants issued out of Malden District Court and Quincy District Court for larcenies from buildings and larceny under $1,200. Scott-Hill was placed under arrest for the warrants and the merchandise was returned.

Officers responded to the intersection of Cambridge Street and Ellsworth Avenue for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist. An investigation determined that the operator of the motor vehicle did operate a motor vehicle with a revoked license and failed to yield to a cyclist when turning right. The Cambridge resident was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and will be summonsed into court on the following charges: Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License and Failure to Yield to a Cyclist when Turning Right.
