Police responded to a Lambert St. building on a report that an unwanted person was inside. It was learned that the person, Gasmithe Julien, 46, of Cambridge, Ma had entered the building through a locked back door and was not an invited guest of any residents. As Julien had been previously removed from this property under similar circumstances and was subsequently placed under arrest for trespassing. |

Police returned to Lambert Street in order to follow-up on an earlier incident . It was discovered that an involved person, identified as Mark Coates, 29 of Boston MA had an active warrant for his arrest from Dorchester District Court. Coates was subsequently placed under arrest on the warrant without incident. During the booking process it was discovered that Coates was in possession of several items that were believed to have been stolen from the building. As such Coates will face an additional charge of receiving stolen property -$1200. |

While patrolling the area of Prospect Street and Broadway, Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no valid inspection sticker. During the stop it was revealed that the operator of the motor vehicle did not hold a valid driver's license. As a result of the stop, a resident of Somerville will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for related charges. |

Police responded to a business on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave on a report of a shoplifting. The manager of a business observed an individual, later identified as Mark Mcauliffe, 51 of Malden, MA, walk out of the business with merchandise hidden in his pants. Officers located Mcauliffe nearby with the merchandise in his possession, it was subsequently learned that Mcauliffe had warrants for his arrest from courts in East Boston and Malden Mcauliffe was arrested on the warrants and will face an additional charge of shoplifting by asportation; 3rd offense. |
