Police responded to a report of an unknown person attempting to break into a store on the 1700 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that an individual with a pickaxe was attempting to pry the door of the establishment open. The individual fled before officers were able to arrive to the scene. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of a past assault & battery on the 0 block of Auburn St. The reporting party claims that they were almost struck by a motor vehicle while at a crosswalk. The reporting party then kicked the drivers car and the driver got out of the car and pushed the reporting party to the floor. The reporting party broke their arm and a report was taken.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting that occurred at the intersection of Alewife Brook Pkwy & Rindge Ave. The reporting party claims that Fitness Supplements and meats valued at $85 were shoplifted by an individual. Officers were able to track down the individual and recover the items. The individual was identified by officers and formally trespassed from the store.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. The reporting party claimed that ribeye steaks valued at $20 were shoplifted from the store. Officers located the individual, subsequently identified as Stephen Meyers, 69, of Somerville. It was learned that Myers had two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court. Officers placed Myers under arrest for the warrants and shoplifting.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 0 block of JFK St. The reporting party claimed that they saw an individual that appeared heavily intoxicated with blood on their face. Officers located the individual who was subsequently transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation. A report was taken.
