Police responded to a report of theft on the 300 block of Mt Auburn St. The reporting party claims that they had loaned a wheelchair to an individual to assist them in getting to a cab. The individual did not return the wheelchair and took it home. A report was taken.

Investigation revealed the possession of a Class B substance leading to an additional charge.

Police responded to a report of an unarmed robbery at the intersection of Flagg St. & Putnam Ave. The reporting party informed officers they had come to the area with their partner in order to meet an individual for the purpose of selling two diamond necklaces. The intended buyer stole the necklaces and fled. The reporting party's partner ran after the individual and with the help of a bystander was able to apprehend them, however during the struggle a window was broken. Officers arrived and placed Jerry Vastey, 22, of Cambridge under arrest for one Count of Unarmed Robbery, one count of Assault & Battery, and one count of Vandalization of Property.

Officers on patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on the intersection of Amory St & Hampshire St. During the stop it was learned the operator of the vehicle had an expired driver's license. The operator will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Unliscensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Police responded to a report of a shoplifting on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that the individual had stolen various items valued at $30. The individual was placed on the trespass list for the business and the stolen merchandise was recovered. As a result, Halim Ghafary, 23, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for shoplifting.
