FLAGG ST & PUTNAM AVE Police responded to a report of an unarmed robbery at the intersection of Flagg St. & Putnam Ave. The reporting party informed officers they had come to the area with their partner in order to meet an individual for the purpose of selling two diamond necklaces. The intended buyer stole the necklaces and fled. The reporting party's partner ran after the individual and with the help of a bystander was able to apprehend them, however during the struggle a window was broken. Officers arrived and placed Jerry Vastey, 22, of Cambridge under arrest for one Count of Unarmed Robbery, one count of Assault & Battery, and one count of Vandalization of Property. |
