Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 200 block of Columbia St. En-route, dispatchers informed officers that the individual thought to be causing the disturbance had an active restraining order against them. Once this was verified, officers placed Jonathan McDonald, 35, unhoused under arrest for Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. Due to McDonald physically resisting officers during the arrest process he will face an additional charge of Resisting Arrest.

Police responded to a report of an unwanted individual in a business on the 100 block of Hampshire St. As a result, Pierre Luxama, 54, of Somerville was placed under arrest for two warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Violation of a Harassment Prevention Order. While being taken into custody, Luxama took the lit cigarette and proceeded to throw it and strike an Officer on scene. Therefore, Luxama is also being charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
