While on patrol, officers conducted a traffic stop for an observed violation on the 500 block of Cambridge St. During the stop it was learned that the vehicle operator had a suspended driver's license. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the operator, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Operating After License Suspension .

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 0 block of Brattle St. Officers were able to identify the suspects in the area and return the merchandise stolen. An investigation revealed one of the suspects, Jama Abdirahman, 25, of Dorchester had two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court. Abdirahman, along with the other suspects, Job Duffrene, 35, of Dorchester, and Omar Sylvester, 46, of Dorchester were subsequently arrested for unlawful removal of theft detection and conspiring to shoplifting.

While on patrol, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave & Temple St for an observed violation. An investigation determined that the vehicle had no insurance, the vehicle was towed and the owner, a Roslindale resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for a charge of uninsured motor vehicle.
