Police responded to a report of a past breaking & entering on the 100 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. The reporting party claims that an unknown individual entered the business last night and broke into the cash draw. The individual took the cash from the draw as well as an unknown number of liquor bottles. A report was taken.

While on patrol, officers located a vehicle that was parked in a travel lane on the 200 block of First St. As the vehicle was impeding traffic officers requested a tow and conducted an inventory of the vehicle in accordance with department policy. During the inventory officers located an unsecured firearm. The firearm was seized and officers were able to identify its owner. The owner, a Taunton resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for one count of failure to secure firearm.

SEXUAL CONDUCT FOR FEE C272 S53A
SIXTH ST
Police responded to a report of an individual intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle on the 100 block of Sixth St. The reporting party claims that the person they were in the car with was driving while intoxicated and had struck three cars. An investigation on the suspects motor vehicle was done and officers found recent damage. After having the suspect preform field sobriety tests and testing their BAC, Officers placed Michael Polynice, 29, of Brookline under arrest for OUI - Liquor. During the investigation it was also learned that an occupant of the vehicle, a Cambridge resident, had offered to perform a sexual act for a fee. As such, this individual will be summons to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Sexual Conduct for a Fee.
