A shopkeeper reported that a person known to them had attempted to take approximately $20 in food products without paying When confronted, the individual pushed past the shopkeeper and fled the scene. As a result the suspect, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charges of Shoplifting by Concealing - 3rd Offense and Assault & Battery. |

During the interaction it was learned one of the parties, later identified as Ryan Adams, of South Boston, had three active warrants out off South Boston and Boston District Courts. Adams was place under arrest for the warrants and is being charged with Possession of a Class B Substance, Subsequent Offense, Receiving Stolen Property Less than $1200, Subsequent Offense, and Obstruction of Justice. |

Police were called to the corner of Mass Ave and Pearl St for the report of an intoxicated male who needed medical assistance. When the ambulance arrived to evaluate the male he became aggressive, threatening and combative with officers as well as medical personnel. The male, identified as Daniel Mervin, unhoused, physically assaulted officers by kicking, spitting and headbutting them. As a result Mervin was arrested for 2 counts of Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, and 1 count of Threats to Commit a Crime. |
