Police responded to a report of credit card theft on the 0 block of Mt Auburn St. The reporting party claims that two of their credit cards were stolen and they later got a notification that someone attempted to use their card at a clothing store in Boston. A report was taken.

BRATTLE ST & PALMER ST
Traffic Enforcement Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Brattle St and Palmer St. for an observed violation. An investigation by officers revealed that the vehicle did not have a valid inspection sticker and the driver did not have an active license. The driver, a Quincy resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Unlicensed Operation and No Valid Inspection Sticker.

Traffic Enforcement Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Brattle St and Palmer St. for an observed violation. An investigation by officers revealed that the vehicle did not have a valid inspection sticker, the registration was expired and the driver did not have an active license. The driver, a Revere resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Unlicensed Operation, No Valid Inspection Sticker, and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Police responded to the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave for a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers met with an employee who claims that they witnessed an individual concealing multiple items in her coat. Officers confronted the individual who then turned over the items they concealed. The individual, an Unhoused Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Concealment.

Officers responded to a report of a unwanted party on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. Upon arrival, officers identified the individual as Eric Girvids, 65, of Roslindale and escorted them out of the establishment. During the interaction it was learned that Girvids had 2 active warrants of out Cambridge District Court. Girvids was subsequently placed under arrest.

Following an observed violation, Traffic Enforcement Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Prospect St. It was learned that the vehicle's registration had been revoked for insurance purposes. As a result, the vehicle was towed and the operator, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operation of a motor vehicle without insurance and improper left turn.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that an individual attempted to shoplift a hair cream valued at $29 and that this was the 4th time this individual had attempted to shoplift from this business. After further investigation officers placed Andres Gonzalez, 34, of Somerville under arrest for one count of shoplifting by asportation.
