CPD Hosts Exam Info Session and Schedules Prep Session for March

On Monday, February 24th the CPD partnered with Massachusetts Civil Service to host an information session on the 2025 Civil Service Police Exam and the process for becoming a Cambridge Police Officer. This event was well attended by community members with a variety of backgrounds, many of whom have registered to take the upcoming exam in March. The group had an opportunity to hear from numerous speakers, including representatives from Civil Service, the Cambridge / Northeastern Police Academy, and various units within the CPD.

For those who are planning to take the Civil Service Police Exam in March or in the future, CPD will also be hosting a Free Exam Prep Session on Friday, March 14th led by Attorney Justin Hanrahan.  This event will aim to give test takers a better understanding of how the exam is structured and provide strategies to best prepare in order to help the candidates achieve their full potential. There is no charge to attend this session, however for planning purposes participants are asked to reserve a seat by e-mailing Off. Bob Reardon in the Public Information Office at rpreardon@cambridgepolice.org
