    Police responded to the 1200 block of Massachusetts Ave for a report of an assault that had occurred. The victim stated they attempted to intervene in an argument and was pushed to the ground by one of the persons involved. The victim was transported to a hospital, the others involved weren't able to be located.

    Police took a report for a past hit and run crash that occurred at the intersection of Cambridge St and Fulkerson St.

    Police took a report of a past larceny from a business on the 0 block of White St. An individual is said to have entered the business and used a stolen credit card to make three seperate transactions totaling $3,600.

    Police responded to Portsmouth St for a report of threats. An individual became friendly over the internet and thought that they were going to work for the SP. The SP gave money to the victim but then proceeded to threaten and harrass them.

    RIVER ST
    Police responded to the 300 block of River St for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival officers were directed to a male, later identified as Angel Castro, 53, of Boston. Store staff reported that Castro had concealled $78 in merchandise that he'd attempted to steal. Castro initially gave a false name, but when properly identified was found to have multiple warrants out of courts in Roxbury, Brighton, and Brookline. Castro was arrested.

    A Cambridge resident came into the police station to report a larceny that occurred on the 700 block of Huron Ave. Th victim had been scammed out of $550,000 over the course of five months via crypto-currency.

    Police responded to a busness on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave for reports of a shoplifitng in progress. Police located and arrested the individual, identified as Kevin Stanley, 52, of Cambridge.

    A Brookline resident came into the police station to report the theft of her cell phone in Cambridge. It was taken sometime between 12:30 and 2:00 AM today while she was at a business on the 1900 block of Massachusetts Ave.

    WARE ST
    Police responded to the 0 block of Ware Street for a report of a fight. Two residents reported a male, later identified as Zan Cheek, 32, of Cambridge had forced his way into an apartment, set a fire in the apartment, strangled a female inside, and kicked another female with a closed toe shoe. Victims reported Cheek is known to them and had acused one of them of stealing his money. As a result, Cheek was placed under arrest and being charged with the following crimes arson of a dwelling, strangulation, breaking & entering daytime for a felony, and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.

    Police responded to the 0 block of White St for a report of a distrubance between a tow truck driver and individual getting their car towed. Each reported the other person had pushed them when the car was being towed from private property for a parking violation. Both declined medical attention and did not wish to file criminal charges at this time.
