    BIGELOW ST
    Police responded to a report of aggravated assault and battery on the 0 block of Bigelow St. Upon arrival, officers took a report from an individual who stated a person known to them had choked them and smacked them in the face several hours prior. The reporting party also claims that this individual broke their phone.

    MASSACHUSETTS AVE
    While on patrol, officers were flagged down for a report of shoplifting on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an individual, later identified as James Donohue, 50, of Cambridge, had stolen a bag containing $116 in merchandise. Officers were able to locate Donahue and recover the stolen merchandise. Donahue was subsequently placed under arrest on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation.

    Officers were approached on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave to take a report for a past shoplifting. A store employee reported an individual had shoplifted $12 in merchandise.

    Police responded to a parking complaint at the intersection of Franklin St & Magazine St. Upon arrival it was learned that the motor vehicle involved had a revoked registration. The vehicle was towed and the owner, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court.

    Police took a report of credit card fraud that occurred on the 200 block of Cambridge St. According to the reporting party, their credit card was fraudulently utilized to purchase $400.00 of merchandise.

    WHITE ST
    Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 0 block of White St. The reporting party claimed that a suspect grabbed multiple items before placing them in a bag and leaving the store without rendering payment. Officers located the suspect who stated they had not taken anything from the store and showed them their empty bag. It was later learned that the suspect had been caught on video stealing cosmetic items estimated to be valued at $700.

    Police responded to a report of an assault in progress at the intersection of Cambridge St and Fayette St. Upon officer's arrival, multiple witnesses and a victim alleged that an individual had called another individual a racial slur and pushed them unprovoked. Officers subsequently placed David Jewers, 53, of Tyngsboro, under arrest for: Disorderly Conduct, Civil Rights Violation, and Assault & Battery.

    Police responded to a report of threats on the 400 block of Massachusetts Ave. Upon arrival, officers approached the suspect who calmed down. As the suspect walked away they began yelling vulgar insults to a bystander. Officers decided to detain the suspect who punched the glass of a business in response. When officers attempted to place the suspect into handcuffs the suspect ripped their arm away. When taken to the ground, the suspect bit an officer, spit numerous times at other responding officers, and kicked a responding officer in the leg. The suspect was then transported to the hospital where they kicked an officer in the chest and threatened to shoot an EMS worker. The suspect, Robert Katz, 36, of West Haven Connecticut was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct, Annoying and Accosting, Threat to Commit a Crime and Resisting Arrest.

    Police took a report of bicycle theft on the 0 block of New St. The reporting party claims an unknown person took their bicycle, valued at $450, from a locked bike rack.

    Police took a report of a stolen scooter from the 300 block of Binney St. The reporting party claims their electric scooter and helmet, valued at $580, were stolen from a locked bike cage.

    Police responded to a report of package theft on the 100 block of Mt Auburn St. The reporting party claims that their package, containing an iPhone 16 and an iPhone case valued at $850, was delivered and then taken off their porch by a suspect.

    MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO C266 S28
    GREEN ST
    Police responded to the 200 block of Green St for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival a party stated that an individual had struck the rear window of their car in an attempt to break in. While Officer's were speaking to the suspect, an individual approached them and stated that about 20 minutes earlier the suspect had struck them in the head with a glass bottle. Based on these statements the suspect, identified as Lens Altidor, 25, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest and will be charged with Assault and Battery with Dangerous Weapon, and Malicious Damage to Motor Vehicle.
