April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, it is an opportunity to raise awareness of sexual violence and support those who have been victimized. For the Cambridge Police Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit it is also an opportunity to share the resources we have available to members of our community. During the month, advocates and detectives from this unit along with other members of the Cambridge Sexual Assault Response Team will be hosting several events at local coffee shops to be available and provide information with our community.

Below are the dates, time and locations, we hope that you will drop by:

  • 1369- 1369 Cambridge St. (Inman Sq) Tuesday, April 15th 9:30-12:00
  • Mariposa Bakery- 424 Massachusetts Ave. (Central Sq) Thursday, April 17th 10:00-12:30
  • Dado Tea- 955 Massachusetts Ave. (Between Central and Harvard) Tuesday, April 22nd 11:30-1:30
  • Lovestruck Books- 44 Brattle St. (Harvard Sq) Friday, April 25th  5:00-7:00
