    Police responded to a medical facility on Cambridge St. to speak with a patient that had arrived with an apparent stab wound. The incident, including whether or not it occurred in Cambridge, is under investigation.

    CHESTNUT ST
    Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress on the 0 block of Chestnut St. On arrival officers were met by the home owner who had the suspect detained in the front interior of their home. The home owner stated that they had found the suspect, inside the bathroom next to their bedroom washing their hands. The home owner stated they had forced open a window in the kitchen and climbed into the house. The home owner was able to detain the suspect and call 911. The suspect, identified as Liam Midgley, 30, of Boston was arrested and charged with unarmed burglary.

    Police responded to a report of a person pulling on car door handles on the 100 block of Clay St. Upon arrival, Officers observed an individual matching the description of the suspect involved in the incident. Further investigation and statements revealed the individual was observed on video attempting to gain entry to a vehicle which they did not own while it was parked on private property. The suspect, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Attempting To Break Into A Depository.

    Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on the 0 block of Brattle St. The reporting party claims they were being followed by a suspicious person. Officers ensured the reporting person got to safety and identified the suspicious person, who denied any knowledge of the situation.

    Police responded to a report of bicycle theft on the 100 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. The reporting party, a bike shop, claims an individual took a bicycle, valued at $2899, on a test drive and never returned.

    Police responded to a shoplifting in progress on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims the suspect took 3 sodas valued at $8. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the suspect but not the stolen merchandise. The suspect was identified and trespassed from the business.

    Police responded to a larceny on the 0 block of Wendell St. The reporting party claimed that while they were moving out of their housing, they had left some of their belongings in the common area that were taken. The reporting party states that their TV, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 jackets, and miscellaneous cleaning products valued at $720 were stolen.

    Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Pacific St & Sidney St. One operator sustained a hand injury and was transported to a local hospital by EMS. The same operator was issued a citation.

    Police conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation at the intersection of Magazine St & Putnam Ave. During the stop it was learned that the driver, a Boston resident, was operating their vehicle with a suspended license. The driver was issued a citation and will be summonsed to court for one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle With License Suspended/Revoked and one count of Failure to Stop/Yield.

    Police responded to a report of leaving the scene of property damage on the 0 block of Hamilton St. The reporting party claims that while their motor vehicle was parked and unattended, it was struck by an unknown operator, leaving visible scrapes on the driver's side.

    Police responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of River St & Western Ave. There was a vehicle in the left hand only lane when the second vehicle rear-ended the first while attempting to continue straight forward. The operator and passenger of the vehicle that was crashed into were taken to the hospital for further treatment and their vehicle was towed due to damage sustained. The operator of the other vehicle was issued a citation for a marked lane violation.

    GILMORE ST & WESTERN AVE
    While on patrol at the intersection of Gilmore St & Western Ave, Officers conducted an inquiry on a parked vehicle with the operator in the drivers seat. The inquiry yielded the owner having two active warrants. As a result, Robel Andu, 32, of Watertown MA was placed under arrest for 2 active warrants out of Medford and Stoughton.
