FRANKLIN ST
Police responded to the 400 block of Franklin Street for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that a bicycle valued at $400 had been stolen and the $25 lock had been cut.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE & SIDNEY ST
Officers on patrol in the area of Massachusetts Ave and Sidney St. conducted a motor vehicle stop after they observed a vehicle with no license plates attached. During the stop it was determined that the operator, Jefferson Cardoso, 35, of Philadelphia, Pa did not have a valid driver's license. In addition the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. The vehicle was towed and Cardoso was placed under arrest on related charges.

PLEASANT ST
Police took a larceny report on the 100 block of Pleasant Street. Victim stated that their vehicle was entered while parked in their driveway and a wallet containing $200 cash, a driver's license and credit cards was stolen. Since the theft there have been several unauthorized purchases using the cards at retailers in Porter Sq.

BRATTLE ST & CRAIGIE
Police responded to Brattle Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle. The cyclist was evaluated on scene by EMS and refused transport to a hospital. The operator of the motor vehicle was issued a citation.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Officers responded to the 2300 block of Massachusetts Avenue to take a report of a package theft. Victim stated the package was stolen from the lobby of their building and contained $208 worth of clothing.

MT AUBURN ST
Officers responded to Mt. Auburn St. near Aberdeen Ave on a report of a disturbance. An MBTA Transit Police Officer on patrol had observed a male, later identified as Paul Ankude, 65, of Cambridge, striking a male with a stick. The MBTA Officer stopped Ankude until Cambridge Police arrived. It was learned that Ankude had damaged yard decor and a flag at a nearby residence before interacting with the victim. Cambridge Officers placed Ankude under arrest on related charges, it was also discovered he had an active warrant from Cambridge District Court.

FRANKLIN ST
Police responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street for a past breaking and entering into a motor vehicle report. The victim reported their glove box was left open and multiple items, including keys and a credit card, had been stolen.

HARVARD ST
Police responded to the 200 block of Harvard Street for a past larceny of a package report. Victim reported the package had been stolen from the front foyer of their apartment building and contained $50 in clothing.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE & NORFOLK ST
Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Norfolk Street to assist public works crews who were attempting to remove an estimated 30-40 trash bags that had been piled on the sidewalk. An unhoused male will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court after he'd became confrontational with officers and DPW workers. The male threw trash at those involved, including inside of a DPW vehicle.

FIRST ST
Police responded to a business on the 0 block of First Street for a report of a disturbance. A Traffic & Parking staff member told officers a suspect had made verbal threats to harm them after they'd ticketed their vehicle for blocking a bike lane.

SPARKS ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Sparks Street for motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital by an ambulance for evaluations. The vehicle operator was issued a citation.

RICHDALE AVE
Police responded to the 0 block of Richdale Avenue for a larceny from building report. The victim stated package that contained a painting valued at $100 was delivered to their residence and their security camera showed an unknown individual steal it moments later.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police responded to a business on the 800 block of Somerville Avenue for a report of a shoplifting. Store staff reported a suspected pretended to scan $113 in merchandise at a self-checkout before leaving the store without paying.

BROADWAY & WARE ST
A ride share driver reported that while dropping off a passenger at the intersection of Broadway and Ware St. a cyclist who was upset that they were stopped in a bike lane purposefully scratched their vehicle causing visible damage.

LAMBERT ST
A Lambert Street resident reported someone stole packages from the mail room at their residence. The packages contained $75 in medical supplements.

MARTIN ST
A Martin Street resident reported that an unknown person had attempted to access their bank accounts.

THORNDIKE ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Thorndike Street for a person having a medical emergency in a motor vehicle. A report was made.

CLIFTON ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Clifton Street for a report of a hit and run crash with property damage. Vehicle owner stated they'd parked their car and when they returned they observed fresh damage.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Officers observed a male throwing multiple full bags of garbage at the door of the Central Sq. Substation. The same individual threw another bag of trash on a marked police cruiser. The individual then walked away from officers in the middle of traffic on Massachusetts Ave with another bag of trash in his hand. Officers stopped the male, identified as Edward Swanson, 63, Unhoused, and placed him under arrest for Defacement of Property and Disorderly Conduct.

CHESTER ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Chester Street for a stolen bike report. The victim stated their bike, valued at $450, was stolen from the back of their home after someone cut the lock.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to a business on the 200 block of Alewife Brook Parkway for a reported shoplifting. Store staff reported a juvenile had stolen $21 of food from a hot bar.

GREEN ST & PLEASANT ST
Zoey Bailey, 44, Unhoused, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Cambridge.

ELLERY ST
Police responded to a Ellery Street residence for an attempted scam. A resident received a phone call from someone claiming to be a detective with the New York State Police. The detective stated they were working a joint case with the Shanghai Police and tricked the victim into sharing personal information.

LANGDON ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Langdon Street for a larceny from a building report. The reporting party had a laptop delivered to the front entrance of their building and when they went to retrieve it they learned it had been stolen.

WASHINGTON ST
Police documented a larceny report from the 300 block of Washington Street. The reporting party stated they'd lost $300 to a housing scam.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a stolen bicycle. The victim reported they'd locked their $2,259 bike to a bike rank in Porter Sq. and when they returned it had been stolen.

CONCORD TPKE
The reporting party stated that they observed an individual wearing a black shirt leaving the building with a suspected stolen bicycle. Officers were able to locate this individual and confirmed that the bike was stolen. The bike was seized, the suspect was identified as a Braintree resident and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

REED ST
Police responded to the area of Reed Street for a malicious destruction report. A resident reported that while driving down Sherman St. they heard a loud bang and later observed damage to their vehicle's rearview mirror.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Officers on patrol stopped a motorcycle for an observed violation. The operator was found to not be properly licensed and the motorcycle was not properly registered. The motorcycle was towed and the operator will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police were responded to a business on the 100 block of Massachusetts Ave for a past shoplifting report. A store employee reported that 3 bottles of alcoholic beverages with a combined value of $132 had been stolen.
