Police responded to a report of a car alarm continuously sounding on the 200 block of Rindge Ave. The vehicle's owner was unable to be located. A Municipal Ordinance Violation Citation was issued and the vehicle was towed.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny on the 100 block of Willow St. During the course of the investigation, an individual made it known to officers that there was a warrant for their arrest. A query confirmed the individual had one active warrant. As a result, Avуаnаh, Quаrlеѕ, 21, of Cambridge, MA was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny on the 100 block of Willow St. The reporting party claims they had invited 5/6 individuals over to their house to drink. After everyone had left, the reporting party discovered that multiple items were taken from the residence. The reporting party states the following items were taken: 2 Macbook air laptops, XBOX with controllers, PS5 with controllers, a pair of Jordan 4 sneakers, an iPhone 12, and a MA State ID.

Police responded took a report for property damage on the 100 block of Norfolk St. A resident had intentionally flooded their apartment and caused damage to the apartment below them. As a result the suspect, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 300 block of Rindge Ave. Officers were informed by emergency services while en route to the location that the disturbance was a dispute between an employee and a customer regarding a money order. A brief investigation revealed the customer had thrown a bottle at the employee, narrowly missing their head, as well as swiping their arm across the shelves causing store products to fall to the ground. Due to all this, the customer, a Cambridge Resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Assault by Dangerous Weapons, and Defacing Property.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. The reporting party claims the suspect had shoplifted 4 pillows from the establishment. An investigation allowed officers to locate and identify the suspect. The stolen merchandise was returned to the store and the suspect was formally trespassed them from the store by staff.

Police responded to a report of breaking & entering on the 0 block of Van Norden St. The reporting party claims that when they returned to their parked car they observed their center console was open, the passenger's door was ajar, and the seat was reclined as if someone had slept in the seat overnight. The reporting party also claims their prescription sunglasses were taken.

Police responded to a report of a pedestrian that was struck by a motor vehicle on the 0 block of Cushing St. The pedestrian claims they were struck by an unknown motor vehicle causing them to fall to the ground. The vehicle fled after striking the pedestrian. The pedestrian declined to be transported to a hospital by EMS.

Officers assisted the reporting party in searching the common areas of the building. One bag was located and it was verified to be the reporting party's, their second bag is still missing.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. The reporting party claims they saw a suspect enter the store and conceal lydocaine patches, lydocaine creams, and an umbrella valued at $76. The suspect then left the store without paying for the merchandise. A search for the suspect yielded negative results.

Police responded to a report of a hit & run at the intersection of Appian Way & Garden St. The reporting party claims a motor vehicle drove straight into the front bumper of a vehicle parked in the handicap spot at the corner. The motor vehicle then swerved back into the lane of travel and continued traveling without stopping to exchange information. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to a report of a motorcycle crashing into a parked motor vehicle on the 1100 block of Massachusetts Ave. The operator of the motorcycle sustained a head injury, but was conscious and alert. It was learned that the motorcycle was not registered, the owner, a Newton resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.
