An officer on patrol observed an individual take a bag of chocolate off a shelf and begin eating it inside a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The individual then left the establishment with items still in their hand without rendering payment. As a result, officers stopped the individual, identified as Grеgg Јеnkinѕ 44, of Cambridge, who was subsequently arrested and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny on the 100 block of Inman St. The reporting party claims an individual stole their bicycle, valued at $850, as well as their lock, valued at $150, from the rear left side yard of their building.

Police responded to a report of a hit & run crash on the 100 block of Upland Rd. The reporting party claimed that their motor vehicle's passenger side mirror was missing and the connecting wire had been removed. Officers determined that the mirror was stolen and the damage was not the result of a crash.

While on patrol, officers encountered two individuals actively lighting a crack pipe on the 200 block of Green St. The subsequent search of the individuals yielded a small plastic baggie containing a white rock substance, later confirmed to be meth. As a result, Gеnеѕiѕ Расkаrd, 21, unhoused, was placed under arrest and charged with Drug, Possess Class B.

Police on patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. It was learned that the motor vehicle registration was revoked and uninsured. As a result, the vehicle was towed and the vehicle owner, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

PROSPECT ST
Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 100 block of Prospect St. A store employee stated a suspect that took multiple items valued at $78 and left without paying. Officers located the suspect, identified as Sean Hicks, 51, of Cambridge down the street with the items in their possession. Hicks was subsequently arrested and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 0 block of Lambert St. On-scene officers spoke to all involved and determined it had been a mutual assault and battery between them. There were no injuries and neither person was interested in pursuing criminal charges.

Police responded to a report of a hit & run crash on the 0 block of Temple St. The reporting party claims a truck had reversed into their motor vehicle, damaging the front hood. The truck then proceeded to take off. Officers were able to locate the truck's operator who admitted that they had backed into the reporting party's vehicle.
