    A Bay State Road resident reported a package containing children's books had been delivered to their front door was stolen.

    Police responded to a Brattle St. business for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Store staff stated they observed Michael Reardon, 43, of Cambridge, taking multiple clothing items in a bag and exiting the store without purchasing them. Officers located Reardon and learned he had four active warrants out of Cambridge District Court and one warrant out of Quincy District Court. Reardon was arrested on the warrants and will face an additional charge for this incident.

    Police responded to an address on the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a shoplifting in progress. The suspect was identified as Clodagh Oneil, 44, of Cambridge who was placed under arrest. Oneil was also found to have three outstanding warrants from courts in Somerville, Salem and Dedham.

    Police responded to Mason Street for a motor vehicle crash. The two motor vehicles involved sustained minor damage and one individual reported an injury. It was learned that one of the involved operators was not properly licensed, they will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

    Police responded to Rindge Avenue for a report of a suspicious party in a backyard. That party identified himself as Jamie Nucci, 53, of Cambridge. Nucci was found to have two active warrants out of Somerville District Court, he was subsequently placed under arrest.

    A Quincy resident reported their vehicle was broken into over the weekend when they parked on the 0 block of Cedar St. The victim returned to their vehicle and found that someone had searched the inside of the vehicle including the glove box, console, and interior.

    Officers on patrol observed a person believed to have warrants near the intersection of Douglass St. and Massachusetts Ave. Officers confirmed the warrants and approached Daquan Lawrence, 31, of Boston, who attempted to run and when caught resisted being handcuffed. Lawrence was placed under arrest for the warrants and will face an additional charge of resisting arrest.

    Police responded to a parking garage on Mount Auburn Street for a report of a hit and run crash with property damage. The reporting party stated that they parked in the parking garage and were alerted by security that their vehicle was hit and the suspect vehicle took off from the scene.

Officers spoke with an employee who stated an individual entered the business and attempted to cash a check made out to another person. When the business stated they were unable to do so without proper documentation the suspect said "you guys are lucky that you're not going to get shot today." Before leaving the area.
