    Police responded outside of a business on the 700 block of Massachusetts Avenue for the report of a disturbance. A victim reported they'd been assaulted by another person after they'd left a bar.

    Police responded to Ware Street for the report of a larceny in progress. Victim stated their purse that was stolen from the lobby of the apartment building.

    Police responded to the Central Sq Fire Station for a report that a person had walked in and was refusing to exit. Officers responded and it was learned that the person, Christopher Shuttle, 35, unhoused, had entered the fire station, pulled his pants down and began touching himself in front of several firefighters. Shuttle later kicked a firefighter and spit on a police officer. Shuttle was placed under arrest on related charges.

    Police responded to a store on Somerville Ave. for the report of a past shoplifting. It was reported to police that two individuals shoplifted items totaling approximately $700.00.

    Police responded to a Somerville Ave. business for a shoplifting in progress. As a result, Donald Blanchard, 37, of Bridgewater was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealment and Trespassing. Blanchard was seen by lost prevention attempt to pay for items totaling $328.32. When the payment method failed, BLANCHARD proceeded to walk out of the store with the items in bags. Blanchard had been previously trespassed from the business.

    Police responded to a business on the 100 block of Prospect St. on a report of a shoplifting. On-scene officers placed Robert Powers, 62, of Cambridge under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise after store staff stated Mr. Powers was observed placing two ribeye steaks inside his sweater, and leaving the store without paying for them.

    Police responded to a Somerville Ave. business for a report of a shoplifting. Store staff reported that two individuals, identified as Diego Cota, 25, of Somerville and Kassandra Cota, 23, of Somerville had loaded $552.28 worth of merchandise into a shopping card, and walked out of the store without rendering payment. Loss prevention was able to stop both until officers arrived, they were subsequently placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation.

    While on an unrelated call for service, staff from a Somerville Ave business alerted officers to another person shoplifting. Staff informed officers that a male in the store, identified as Eoin Dempsey, 21, of Cambridge, had stolen from the store on 12 times. In those times, Dempsey would use the self check out machine to scan a product valued at $0.99 in place of various higher priced items. During today's incident Dempsey had falsely scanned three packages of meats and concealed one ginger shot in his pocket with a total retail value of $25.86. Dempsey was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with one count of Shoplifting by Asportation.

    Police took a report for a past shoplifting from a business in Central Sq. Store staff stated that a suspect had entered the store and scanned over $50 in merchandise at a self-scanner but left the store with the items without rendering payment.

    Police arrested Genesis Packard, 21, unhoused, on a warrant out of Boston Municipal Court. Following the arrest, Packard was found to be in possession of a counterfeit $100 bill, leading to an additional charge.

    Police responded to the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue for the report of a disturbance. Officers spoke to all involved and learned that one of the involved persons had made a verbal threat to slice a victims threat. This individual, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.
