    Police responded to a Porter Square business for a past assault & battery. The reporting party/victim stated they had been physically assaulted and sustained injury to their finger. They were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.

    RINDGE AVE
    Police responded to the area of Russell Field after a victim reported seeing a person on their stolen bike valued at $6724. Officers stopped the individual with the bike, later identified as Divon Goodman, 31, of Cambridge. The bike was confirmed to be the victim's using a serial number. Goodman was placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property. Following the arrest Goodman was found to have several controlled substances on his person leading to additional charges.

    Officers were dispatched to a Willow St. address for a report of a possible larceny of a scooter in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a male individual riding off on a scooter. The reporting person was not the scooter's owner.

    Police placed Kenneth Younge, 36, of Boston under arrest following a disturbance in Central Sq. Younge was observed being confrontational with another individual. As one officer attempted to separate Younge from the incident he slapped the officer's hands leading to an additional charge.

    Police responded to a Kendall Square hotel for the report of party who had his wallet stolen. This party had realized his wallet was missing when he received notifications that his credit cards were being used.

    Following a traffic stop for an observed violation in the area of Appleton and Brattle St., the operator of the vehicle was found not to have a valid driver's license. The operator, a Saugus resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

    Police responded to a disturbance at a restaurant on JFK St. in which the assailant destroyed a battery pack worth $20, and then subsequently fled the scene.

    Police responded to a Harvard Square business for an alarm. Upon arrival it was learned the alarm was activated for shoplifting in which the perpetrator had taken $60 worth of merchandise and fled the scene before the arrival of officers.

    A resident reported a group of juveniles approached them in the area of Green and Magazine Street and grabbed $50.00 which was in their hand, then fled the area. The group was located was later located by officers and identified, they will face related charges.

    Police responded to Cambridge Street for a disturbance inside a local business. The store clerk reported the suspect had been throwing products off the store's shelves onto the floor. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of officers.

    Police responded to the 1300 block of Massachusetts Ave for an assault in progress. On scene it was learned that Erin Nelson, 33, of Melrose had pepper sprayed a male in the face following an altercation. Nelson was placed under arrest for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. It was later discovered the other involved person, Audie Whitaker, 35, of Dorchester had an active warrant out of Fall River District Court. As a result, Whitaker was placed under arrest for that warrant.
