Officers responded to a business on the 800 block of Somerville Ave for a report of two individuals shoplifting. The reporting party told officers that a total of $6,000 worth of items were stolen.

Officers conducted a well being check on two unhoused individuals laying on the ground on the near the intersection of Church St and Massachusetts Ave. When Officers spoke with Armani Esty, 24, unhoused, they became hostile. Esty grabbed a metal pipe next to her and used it to strike an officer on the left arm. Esty refused to comply with officer's commands and kicked an officer before being placed under arrest.

Sulieman DeJesus, 41, of Somerville, was arrested for one count of Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and one count of Resisting Arrest at a business located on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. Store staff reported DeJesus had stolen a camera valued at $199.99. Officers stopped DeJesus and found the item concealed in his bags. When officers told DeJesus he was being placed under arrest he physically resisted their attempts to handcuff him.

Officers conducted a check person on a individual on the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue. The individual reported they'd been assaulted with a weapon some time over the weekend in Central Square, resulting in a laceration on the back of their head. Officers offered to have the individual evaluated by EMS but they declined any assistance.

A resident walked into the station to report a larceny. The resident told officers that they were contacted by a known individual on social media telling them that they could make $15,000. The resident ended up meeting with the individual and gave them their bank account information. Over the next few days, the resident reported that $2,500 was withdrawn from their account.

As a result a traffic stop was conducted, it was concluded that the operator of the motorcycle also did not possess a proper driver's license.
