Daily Log for July 16, 2025

PRESCOTT ST
Officers responded to Prescott Street for a report of a stolen scooter. Upon arrivals, officers met with the scooter's owner, who found the scooter via GPS tracker and noticed that a lock was placed on it. Ownership was verified and the scooter was returned to it's rightful owner.

BANKS ST
A resident of Banks Street reported that a vehicle that was parked and unoccupied overnight, was struck by an unknown vehicle causing damage to the left side of the vehicle.

BROADWAY
Officers responded to the 200 block of Broadway for a report of malicious destruction. The reporting party stated that an unknown individual exited their vehicle and began to instigate a fight with the reporting party, who refused to roll down his window for the individual. As the individual was walking back to their car, the individual struck the reporting party's window with a closed fist causing a visible crack.

RINDGE AVE
Emmanuel Olivie, 25, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest after it was determined there was probable cause that he committed an unarmed robbery at a Rindge Ave business. It was also determined he had an active warrant out of Concord.

BRATTLE ST
A Brattle St. business reported an individual had defecated in front of their business.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Officers responded to the 700 block of Cambridge Street for report of a bicyclist doored by a motor vehicle. The bicyclist sustained a laceration on their hand was transported to the hospital. A citation was issued to the driver.

WHITTEMORE AVE
A Whittemore Ave resident reported a past breaking & entering to a motor vehicle. The resident stated items totaling to $130 were taken.

ELLERY ST
Officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Ellery Street for the larceny report. The resident stated that a package valued at $40.00 was stolen from the front stairs of their residence.

FRANCIS AVE
An individual reported a incident of criminal harassment on the 0 block of Francis Avenue. The reporting party emailed pictures of the suspect vehicle.

COLUMBIA ST & HAMPSHIRE ST
A resident reported that their vehicle had been damaged in a hit and run crash while parked at Columbia St and Hampshire St. The resident told officers that the damage to their vehicle is consistent with a side swipe collision.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Officers received a call for a report of a shoplifting at a CambridgeSide Place business. Suspected attempted to steal four stolen pairs of shoes with a total value of $239.96.

FRANKLIN ST
Officers were called to Franklin St for a report of a person urinating in public.

GREEN ST & PEARL ST
Erin Weafer, 45, of Cambridge, was arrested for possession of a suspected Class B substance in the area of Pearl and Green Street. Officers interacted with Weafer after she was observed attempting to conceal a plastic baggy of a white powdered substance that is believed to be crack cocaine.

HAMPSHIRE ST
An individual reported damage to their parked motor vehicle on Hampshire Street. Damage was sustained to the driver side door and the rear wheel.

RUSSELL ST
Officers responded to Russell Street for a report of a past breaking & entering into a motor vehicle. The victim told officers that items valued at $400 were stolen from the vehicle.

RINDGE AVE
Officers documented two past larcenies at a business on the 300 block of Rindge Avenue. On two separate occasions, a suspect left the store with $15.00 worth of items without paying for them.

PUTNAM AVE
A resident reported a hit and run on the 500 block of Putnam Ave. The reporting party told officers that there was damage to the left side of the vehicle that was not there prior.

WARE ST
A resident reported a past hit and run on Ware Street. Minor damage was sustained on the resident's car.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block area of Massachusetts Avenue for the report of someone tracking their stolen bicycle to that location. Officers searched the area but had negative results.
