Officers in Central Sq. responded to a shoplifting and subsequently placed William Sylvester, 46, of Dorchester, under arrest for larceny and Tamara Weisz, 33, of Newton, under arrest for receiving a stolen credit card. It was discovered that Sylvester had an outstanding warrant out of Malden District Court and Weisz had active warrants out of Quincy and Newton.

Kellyann Daniel, 43, of Boston, was placed under arrested for Shoplifting by Price Tag Tampering at a Massachusetts Avenue business. Officers responded to this location and learned that Daniel attempted to steal a $40 item by intentionally scanning a $3 price tag at a self-checkout line.

Police responded to the area of Brattle Street for a larceny of a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle told officers that they left the vehicle running with the keys in the ignition and unlocked while picking up food. When they returned the vehicle was gone.
