    Officers in the vicinity of Franklin St. interacted with a group after they observed a suspected street level drug transaction. The three persons involved, Sheryl Rogers-Middleton, 63, of Cambridge, and Vanessa Wright, 63, of Brighton, were arrested for Possession of a Class B Drug. Additionally Darren Thorton, 34, of Cambridge was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer after pushing an officer during the interaction.

    Police officers responded to a local business in Central Square for the report of a shoplifting that had just occurred. It was learned that Heather White, 40, of Cambridge, had placed items into a bag while inside the business, and walked out without paying. Officers stopped White and found her to be in possession of a substance believed to be fentanyl. White was subsequently placed under arrest.
