WHITE ST
James Hook, 57, of Cambridge was placed under arrest in Porter Square for 4 active warrants.

RICHDALE AVE
Police responded to a Richdale Avenue residence for a report of a stolen bicycle. The reporting party stated their bike was missing from a pole they'd locked it to.

BROADWAY
A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for having an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle on a public way. Officers found the vehicle on Broadway while responding to a parking complaint. The vehicle was towed.

ERIE ST
Police responded to an Erie Street residence for a larceny report. The reporting party stated they were visiting a friend and left a suitcase containing items valued at $36.00. When they returned the suitcase was gone.

FAYERWEATHER ST
Police responded to a Fayerweather St. residence for the report of a past breaking & entering to a motor vehicle. The victim stated someone broke into their motor vehicle and took a pair of sunglasses as well as $5 in quarters.

CLIFTON PL
A resident of Clifton Pl. reported they were the victim of an online scam. The victim applied for a loan online and later learned their bank account and credit card information was compromised, resulting in several thousand dollars in fraudulent charges.

ERIE ST
Odell Mitchell, 63, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on one active warrant out of Boston District Court.

ESSEX ST
Police took a report for a past hit and run crash that occurred in a parking lot on Essex Street. The owner of a vehicle stated that a bus backed into their parked vehicle and left the scene.

NORFOLK ST
Louise Anne Silvia, 47 of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for possession of a Class B Controlled Substance. Officers approached Silvia on Norfolk Street with a suspected crack pipe. During the interaction Silvia was found to be in possession of a white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE Police were approached by an employee of a Central Sq. business for a shoplifting in progress. A suspect stole $20 in food products and fled before the arrival of officers.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A resident reported a past break-in to their apartment. An unknown individual gained access to a closet within their apartment and stole prescription medication.

HADLEY ST
Police responded to Hadley St for the report of a possible home repair scam. The reporting party stated they were charged $32,500 dollars to begin a masonry project and the company failed to conduct the work.

CAMBRIDGEPARK DR
Police responded to a CambridgePark Drive residence to speak with a party in regards to issues with their property manager.

CHURCH ST
Reporting person stated an unknown vehicle damaged their rental car while they were parked in a Harvard Square parking lot.

THIRD ST
A resident reported a bike trailer and accessories were stolen from a locked parking garage.

SPRING ST
A Spring St. resident reported that someone broke into their apartment and stole various items while they were away.

RIVER ST
Police responded to a River St. business for a report of a shoplifting. On-scene officers stopped a male, later identified as Brandon Cobb - Costa, 29 of Boston with stolen merchandise in his possession. Cobb - Costa was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation - 2nd Offense. He was later found to have illegal narcotics in his possession leading to an additional charge and an active warrant out of Roxbury District Court.

WEBSTER AVE
Police responded to a residence on Webster Ave for an identity fraud report. The reporting party stated they received an alert that a new credit card was opened under their name.

CHILD ST
Police responded to the area of Child Street for a larceny report. The reporting party stated they sold a computer monitor to an unknown party, when they returned to their apartment they noticed that the payment was made in movie prop money.
