Police responded to a local hospital after a patient was found with to have a loaded magazine for a firearm in their property. There was no firearm. The magazine was taken for safe keeping and the circumstances are under investigation.

Dennis Taft, 75, unhoused with a last known address in Bedford, was placed under arrest for Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon at the Fresh Pond Reservation. Police responded to assist a Cambridge Park Ranger with a disturbance, the Ranger had been assaulted by Taft with a beer can and walking stick after they'd asked Taft to stop drinking beer in the public park.

It was reported by store employees that Estrella took approximately $45.00 worth of merchandise from their business and was later learned he'd stolen $17.00 worth of merchandise from another nearby business.
