    Police responded to an address on Fresh Pond Lane for a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. A suspicious person was seen rummaging around inside a vehicle but fled when the reporting party exited their house. There was no damage or items missing.

    Police responded to Alewife Brook Pkwy for a shoplifting. Officers stopped and identified the suspect who confessed to taking candy worth $5. The candy was returned and the store manager issued a trespass order to the suspect, but did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

    Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Mt. Vernon St. for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist. All involved declined medical attention. The motorist was issued a citation.

    Genesis Packard, 21, unhoused with a last known address in Somerville, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. Officers on patrol in Central Sq. approached Packard and another individual who were observed trespassing. While officers attempted to interact, Packard began yelling and screaming at officers causing alarm to multiple bystanders. The other individual left without incident.

    Police were called to a Norfolk St residence for a package theft report. The individual noted they received a photo of the package being delivered. When they went to retrieve it, the package was missing. The package contained clothes worth $200.

    Police observed a male known to officers from prior interactions drinking an alcoholic beverage in public. Officers attempted to stop this individual who then fled on a scooter. Officers did not pursue for safety reasons, the individual, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

    Michael Groden, 45, unhoused with a last known address in Marlborough, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class A Drug - Subsequent Offense and Possession of a Class B Drug. - Subsequent Offense. Officers interacted with Groden on Green St. using what appeared to be a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine. During the interaction Groden was found to be in possession of substances believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.

Police responded to the intersection of Cambridge Street and Massachusetts Avenue for a report that a motor vehicle being operated by Carr had driven up onto a median where it became stuck. While speaking with Carr, officers observed multiple signs of impairment.
