FRESH POND LN
Police responded to an address on Fresh Pond Lane for a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. A suspicious person was seen rummaging around inside a vehicle but fled when the reporting party exited their house. There was no damage or items missing.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to Alewife Brook Pkwy for a shoplifting. Officers stopped and identified the suspect who confessed to taking candy worth $5. The candy was returned and the store manager issued a trespass order to the suspect, but did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
A Newton resident reported that a generator was stolen overnight from their food truck while it was parked near Danehy Park.

WALDEN ST
A resident reported that they had several items stolen from inside their vehicle while it was parked on Walden Street.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police were dispatched to Alewife Brook Pkwy for a larceny report. Victim stated an unknown suspect stole their backpack that contained multiple items with a total value of around $310.

MARCELLA ST
A Marcella St resident contacted police to report their cell phone stolen. A neighbor had asked to borrow the phone and has not returned it, they could not be located.

MT VERNON ST
Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Mt. Vernon St. for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist. All involved declined medical attention. The motorist was issued a citation.

PEARL ST
Genesis Packard, 21, unhoused with a last known address in Somerville, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. Officers on patrol in Central Sq. approached Packard and another individual who were observed trespassing. While officers attempted to interact, Packard began yelling and screaming at officers causing alarm to multiple bystanders. The other individual left without incident.

MAIN ST
A resident reported that their electric kick scooter had been stolen. The lock and scooter were worth approximately $500.

HARVARD ST
A resident reported that they received a notification that a package was delivered but it was not there when they went to retrieve it. The package contained $400 headphones.

NORFOLK ST
Police were called to a Norfolk St residence for a package theft report. The individual noted they received a photo of the package being delivered. When they went to retrieve it, the package was missing. The package contained clothes worth $200.

GREEN ST
Police observed a male known to officers from prior interactions drinking an alcoholic beverage in public. Officers attempted to stop this individual who then fled on a scooter. Officers did not pursue for safety reasons, the individual, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police took a report for a past larceny on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims their notary equipment kit worth $80 was taken from their backpack

MT AUBURN ST
Officers were dispatched to a Mt. Auburn St. address for a report of a disturbance. One individual claimed another had come close to them and been verbally offensive.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a convenience store for a disturbance. The reporting party claimed during checkout, an individual became upset and threw chicken at the store worker.

GRISWOLD ST
Police responded to a Griswold Street residence for a past hit and run crash. The reporting party stated their parked vehicle was struck, causing damage.

GREEN ST
Michael Groden, 45, unhoused with a last known address in Marlborough, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class A Drug - Subsequent Offense and Possession of a Class B Drug. - Subsequent Offense. Officers interacted with Groden on Green St. using what appeared to be a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine. During the interaction Groden was found to be in possession of substances believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.

ORCHARD ST
William Thoresen, 35 of Shirley, MA, was placed under arrest for four active warrants out of Boston, Brookline and Cambridge District Courts.

ORCHARD ST
Police responded to Orchard Street for the report of a past attempted breaking and entering. An individual who was possibly intoxicated had been seen attempting to enter a resident's house, but was unsuccessful.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A resident filed a past assault and battery report in Central Sq. The reporting party claims an individual purposefully brushed into their body and then began yelling.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A resident reported the theft of an electric kick scooter. While inside a convenience store, the reporting party was alerted to someone stealing their scooter from outside the storefront. The scooter was worth around $170.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police were called to a Central Square bar for a report of a fight. The reporting party claimed two individuals attempted to rob them and their partner outside the establishment.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Mary Carr, 55, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence- Liquor. Police responded to the intersection of Cambridge Street and Massachusetts Avenue for a report that a motor vehicle being operated by Carr had driven up onto a median where it became stuck. While speaking with Carr, officers observed multiple signs of impairment.

MT AUBURN ST
Police responded to a Mt Auburn Street apartment building for a larceny report. The reporting party claims $28.87 in takeout food was taken from the front steps of their residence.
