    Police responded to Cambridge St after a resident reported they were followed back to their residence by two unknown persons. Both individuals fled when the reporting person called 9-1-1 for assistance.

    Richard Parrelli, 29, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for Armed Assault to Rob and Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (metal pole). Officers responded to a church at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Beech St. on a report of a robbery in progress. According to witness and victim statements, Parelli struck the victim numerous times with a metal pole wrapped in tape and forcefully took the victims backpack. The backpack contained the victim's laptop.

    Police responded to the intersection of Sparks Street and Hemlock Street for a report of an assault & battery. The victim stated they were struck in the head with a plastic water bottle during road rage incident. The suspect was identified and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court.

    Police responded to Windsor St. to take a report for a past Breaking & Entering to a Motor Vehicle. The reporting person stated an unknown suspect gained access to their motor vehicle and stole multiple items, including $3 cash and a local university parking pass.

    Police responded to a local business on the 1400 block of Massachusetts Ave in Harvard Sq. for a shoplifting in progress. The involved person, an Everett resident, was stopped and identified after attempting to steal $368 in merchandise. The store did not with to pursue criminal charges.

    Wilbur Washington, 44, of Cambridge was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Withholding Evidence following a drug investigation on the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue. Officers interacted with Washington and another Cambridge resident after observing a suspected street level drug transaction in which they recovered a white, rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine. The other involved person, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Possession of a Class B Substance.

    Michael Brown, 45, of Roxbury was arrested on Green St. for Possession of Class B Substance, and Trespassing. Police interacted with Brown when they observed him sitting on a stoop with a posted "No Trespassing" sign, attempting to light a glass pipe containing a substance believed to be crack cocaine.

    Police witnessed a stabbing at a bus stop located at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave. and Pearl Street. The suspect, later identified as Princiano Faustin, 51, of Cambridge, was pursued on-foot to his residence while waving two machetes. Following a lengthy stand-off Faustin was placed under arrest on multiple charges.
