MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Palmer St business reported a shoplifting. A store employee reported a suspect had walked into the store, began consuming a beverage, and then fled without paying.

STORY ST
Police were approached with regard to a past larceny. The reporting party claimed an unknown individual took $20 from their back pocket while shopping at a local pharmacy.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Damon Ely, 32, of Brookline was placed under arrest on an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court along with several motor vehicle offenses. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle Ely was operating in Central Sq. and discovered it was unregistered, uninsured and not properly inspected.

MAGAZINE ST
Police responded to a Magazine St residence for the report of suspicious activity. The reporting party claims an unknown individual approached their porch and then fled.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police responded to a Porter Sq. business for a shoplifting. A store employee reported that a known, chronic shoplifter, had entered the store and stolen $45 worth of merchandise.

AUBURN ST
A financial institution reported that an individual had unsuccessfully attempted to withdraw funds that were fraudulently transferred into their account.

JFK ST
Police responded to a local coffee shop on JFK street after an employee called police to report that they were scammed by a suspect who falsely represented themselves as a member of the Cambridge Fire Department. The suspect posed as a fire inspector and convinced the employee to wire $2,700 to cover the costs of an upcoming inspection.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police responded to a Somerville Ave. business on a report of a shoplifting. A store employee stated that a known, repeat shoplifter stole $52 worth of clothing items. In total, the business believes this suspect has been involved with numerous shoplifting incidents and has stolen merchandise totaling over $17,000.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police took a report for a past larceny. The reporting party claimed their sunglasses, worth $400, were stolen from the lobby desk at a local parking lot.

SPARKS ST
An officer on a bike issued a citation to a motorist for an observed violation.

STEEL PL
Moloton Telemaque, 50, of Boston, MA, was placed under arrest for a warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court.

SOMERVILLE AVE
A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation - 3rd Offense after a shoplifting incident at a Porter Sq. business. Officers stopped and identified the suspect after a store employee stated the individual had stolen merchandise with a retail value of $59.

DOUGLASS ST
Police responded to Douglas Street for a hit and run crash report. The reporting party stated their truck was hit while attempting to let another individual pass. There were no injuries reported.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Groveland resident reported their credit card had been stolen and there were approximately $600 worth of unauthorized charges at businesses in Central Sq.

CANAL PK
Police responded to Canal Park for a hit and run crash report. The reporting party stated their vehicle had been struck while parked, causing damage.

RUFO RD
A Brockton resident reported two cell phones had been stolen from Gold Star Mother's park.

BRATTLE ST
Police responded to a Brattle St business for a past shoplifting. A store employee reported an individual had taken a drink and left without paying.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
An Acton resident reported a vehicle had hit them in the shin at a Cambridge hotel and driven off. The victim was evaluated at a hospital for a leg injury.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Asianya Jackson, 24, of Dorchester was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise. Police responded to a business in Central Sq. for a shoplifting, a store employee reported that Jackson had stolen merchandise valued at $25.

BRATTLE ST
Police responded to a Brattle St business for a past shoplifting report. The business reported a suspect stole a bottle of champagne worth $32.

CONCORD AVE
A Concord Avenue resident reported that an unknown person had stolen jewelry, worth $600, while moving.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a retail store in the Central Square area for a shoplifting. The suspect failed to scan $81.41 worth of meat and fish at the self checkout.

DUDLEY ST
Police received a stolen bicycle report. The reporting party claimed their bike was taken from a common area in their residence. The bike was worth $260.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to a gym on Alewife Brook Parkway for a bicycle theft. The victim stated that an unknown person cut the wire lock off of their electric bicycle, valued at $1,000, and fled the area.

STEEL PL A motorist reported their vehicle was struck by a cyclist. There were no injuries reported and the damage was minimal.

PROSPECT ST
A Hyde Park resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for motor vehicle related offenses following a traffic stop for an observed violation on Prospect St.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a retail store in the Central Square area for a shoplifting. The employees claimed an individual stole $11 worth of merchandise and fled the store.

WENDELL ST
Police responded to Wendell Street for a past breaking and entering. The reporting party claimed their storage unit was broken into and a bike, valued at $500, was stolen.
