    Police responded outside of a business on Massachusetts Avenue for report of a fight involving multiple individuals. Two groups had been separated before officers arrived, there were no injuries reported.

    Police were dispatched to the intersection of Inman Street and Broadway for a crash between a motor vehicle and scooter. It was reported the scooter operator had gone through a red light and into the path of the vehicle. The scooter operator was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

    Police responded to Massachusetts Ave near Vassar St. for a crash involving a cyclist. It was reported that the cyclist had rear-ended a vehicle in traffic. The cyclist was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

    FRANKLIN ST & WESTERN AVE A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to the Cambridge District Court on a charge of Possession of a Class B Substance. Officers observed this individual in a local park smoking a white rock like substance, believed to be crack cocaine, from a glass pipe.

    Jake Gearin, 27, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on a charges of Shoplifting by Asportation and Possession of a Class A Substance - Subsequent Offense. Officers responded to a River St. business for a shoplifting and were directed by store staff to Gearin who they reported had stolen $82 in merchandise. Gearin was also found to have suspected fentanyl on his person.

    Sheryl Rogers-Middleton, 63, of Cambridge was placed under arrest and a Malden resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to the Possession of a Class B Substance. Officers in Central Sq. interacted with the pair after they'd been observed completing a suspected street level drug transaction.

    Taquan Anderson, 34, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Waltham District Court. Officers interacted with Anderson in North Cambridge when a neighbor reported Anderson had slapped them after they'd asked him to move his vehicle as it was blocking a fire hydrant.

    Police responded to the area of Baldwin Court for a report of a gunshot. Several residents stated they heard a loud "bang" that was believed to have been gunshots. Officers search the area and were unable to locate any victims or ballistic evidence.
