MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to the Harvard Sq. MBTA Station to assist the MBTA Transit Police on a report of a person with a gun. The investigation into this incident will be handled by Transit Police.

JOHN F. KENNEDY ST
An employee of a business on the 0 block of John F. Kennedy St reported the suspect had stolen an unknown amount of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

FAWCETT ST
A resident of Fawcett Street will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for having an Unregistered and Uninsured Motor Vehicle on a public roadway. The violation was uncovered by officers responding to a parking violation.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police took a report that two attempts had been made to cash counterfeit checks on the 700 block of Massachusetts Ave.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation. An employee of a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave reported the suspect had stolen $30.23 of merchandise.

COLUMBIA TERRACE
A Columbia Terrace resident that they were threatened by an unknown individual. The victim stated they had accidentally clicked on a spam link and started getting spam text messages. The messages quickly escalated to violent threats for money.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a Central Square business for a disturbance. The manager of the business reported that an unidentified party had entered the business and attempted to steal items from a takeout counter.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
An employee of a business on the 1400 block of Massachusetts Ave reported a suspect had stolen $100 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

CRESCENT ST
Police responded to the 0 block of Crescent Street to document damage to a motor vehicle. The vehicle owner stated they parked on Crescent St. and noticed scratches on the car when they returned.

MEMORIAL DR
Police responded to the 700 block of Memorial Drive for a report of trespassing. The reporting party stated they discovered an abandoned moped in the back of their business and have had on-going issues with individuals trespassing into their alley.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Kevin DeMello, 62, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on a charge of Assault & Battery on a Police Officer and Shoplifting by Asportation. DeMello was seen stealing a bottle of mouthwash from a business on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. When officers attempted to speak to him, DeMello hit the officer in the chest.

AMES ST
Police responded to Ames Street on a report of an attempted Breaking and Entering. The reporting party stated that they heard fiddling on their apartment door. When they opened it, an unidentified person was there.

SIXTH ST
Thomas Fitzpatrick, 42, of Boston was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Roxbury District Court.

WHITE ST
Police responded to White Street to document a past larceny. The reporting party stated they had parked their scooter in a bike rack and returned to find it was missing. The scooter is valued at $1,499.00.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Bishop Allen Dr resident stated that they were threatened by an individual known to them.

TEMPLE ST
Cheryl Clark, 55, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on charges of Trespassing, Possession of a Class A Substance, and Possession of a Class B Substance. Tommy Clark, 42, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on charges of Trespassing, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Possession of a Class E Substance. Officers observed Tucker and Clark in a private parking lot, attempting to light a glass tube that is commonly used to smoke crack cocaine.
