    James Burton, 27, of Somerville was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Trespass, and Resisting Arrest. Police responded to a business on Green Street for the report of an unwanted party. Burton was standing inside the entrance, refusing to leave. When Burton continued to refuse, officers attempted to place him under arrest and Burton actively resisted.

    An employee of a Somerville Ave business reported a suspect had stolen $700 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

    Dijon Brooks, 28, of Boston was placed under arrest on charges of Shoplifting by Asportation and Trespassing. A store employee reported that Brooks had entered a store on Broadway after having been formally trespassed and stolen approximately $30 worth of food products.
