SOMERVILLE AVE
An employee of a Somerville Ave business reported a suspect had stolen $132 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

MEMORIAL DR
Staff at a hotel on Memorial Drive reported that a past guest has been harassing employees over the phone.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to a Alewife Brook Pkwy residence regarding potential vandalism to a vehicle. The reporting party stated their vehicle was damaged while it was parked inside a garage.

CHARLES ST
Police responded to a Charles St. business for a past larceny. The owner stated items worth $950 had been stolen from the business.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY A Watertown resident reported they had unauthorized transactions valued at $50,000 on their credit card after they'd used it to make a $20 donation to a suspect collecting money in an Alewife Brook Parkway business.

WHITE ST
Police assisted the manager of a White Street construction site with formally trespassing two unwanted persons.

RIVER ST
Linda Hamblin, 46, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealment, 3rd Offense. Store staff reported that Hamblin had concealed merchandise in a bag while attempting to steal it. Officers stopped Hamblin and found $179 worth of unpaid merchandise in the bag.

JFK ST
A Cambridge resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $200, was stolen from a bike rack located on JFK St.

SPRING ST A Cambridge resident reported that they were a victim of a online apartment scam. The reporting party stated they had sent $2,330 to secure the rental of an apartment they later learned did not exist.

PROSPECT ST
Luciana Favero, 50, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on charges of Shoplifting by Asportation, Vandalize Property and a warrant out of Cambridge District Court. Officers interacted with Favero at a Prospect St. business after store staff reported she'd stolen $10 worth of food from a hot bar and slammed a potted plant to the ground.

RINDGE AVE
A Rindge Ave resident reported that their bicycle tire, valued at $175, was stolen from a bike rack located at their residence.

ELMER ST & HINGHAM ST
Mark Summers, 58, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Inhale a Toxic Substance. Police responded to a business on the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue for the report of a person inhaling something out of a canister, officers observed the suspect actively doing so.

WHITE ST
Jawsome Ivaldy Metayer, 32, of Boston was placed under arrest on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealment and Provide a False Name after Arrest. Store staff reported to police that Metayer had concealed $13 in ice cream and bakery items in a backpack. Officers subsequently placed Metayer under arrest and he provided a false name during the booking process.

SIXTH ST
Officers assisted a resident with finding a lost vehicle.

LAMBERT ST
A Cambridge reside reported they had been threatened by an unknown person outside of a local medical facility.

MT VERNON ST
A Cambridge resident reported a potential scam alleging they had an unpaid toll violation. The resident recognized the scam and has not noticed any unauthorized transactions on their accounts.

MONSIGNOR OBRIEN HWY
Police responded to a business on Monsignor O'Brien Highway for a report of a disturbance. An employee stated the customer was unhappy with a service they'd performed and spit on the employee.

ARROW ST
Tim Splain, 24, unhoused with a last known address in Connecticut, was placed under arrest and charged with Larceny from a Building and Destruction of Property in a Place of Worship. Officers responded to a Harvard Sq. church where Splain was found with three collection bins that contained donations. Splain is also alleged to have urinated on the property.

ROGERS ST
Police took a report for a hit and run crash. The reporting party stated a bicyclist had hit the side of their motor vehicle, causing damage, before fleeing the scene without exchanging information.

COLUMBIA TER
Police responded to Columbia Terrance to file a report for harassment. The reporting party stated there have been on-going issues with a neighbor.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police took a report for a past larceny from a business on Somerville Avenue. The reporting party stated their wallet was stolen from a locker inside of a local business.

DUDLEY ST
Police responded to a Dudley Street residence for a report of malicious destruction. The reporting party stated their front door was damaged by unknown individuals.

NORFOLK ST
A Norfolk St reported they have been receiving threatening text messages.
