Robert Powers, 62, of Cambridge was placed under arrest at a River St. business on charges of Shoplifting by Asportation and Resisting Arrest. Employees called police after Powers refused to pay for a pastry and chocolate milk. It was discovered that Powers also had two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court. Powers actively resisted officers attempts to place him into custody.

Dennis McNulty, 60, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on Norfolk Street on charges of Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Threats to Commit a Crime, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and a warrant out of Cambridge District Court. Officers responded to Norfolk St. on a report of a disturbance. It was reported that McNulty had struck one victim in the face with a drumstick and thrown a glass bottle in the direction of another victim.
