On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 CPD joined other community members on the lawn of City Hall for the annual Domestic Violence Vigil. The vigil is held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to honor the Massachusetts women, men, and children who have tragically lost their lives during domestic violence incidents over the past year. CPD was represented by members of our Leadership Team, the Family & Social Justice Section (FSJS), Patrol Officers, and the Domestic Violence Unit.
