Commemorative Pink Patches are to Available to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

As October draws to a close we want to recognize the work some of our officers have done as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. For several years now Cambridge has been an active participant in the Pink Patch Project and its local affiliate, the Massachusetts Pink Patch Project. These initiatives seek to bring public safety professionals and supporters together to raise funds and awareness for those battling breast cancer.

This year, officers who have organized the Cambridge Police Charity Patch Series unveiled their latest commemorative pink patch design. The Cambridge Police Patrol Officer’s Association (CPPOA) is now offering these and other pink CPD items for sale online: cppoa1969.square.site

Proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to charities that support breast cancer research and treatment. The CPD’s participation in the Pink Patch Project has been made possible by the volunteer efforts of several CPD officers and financial contributions from the Cambridge Police Patrol Officer’s Association.
