CPD Takes Part in Purple Thursday for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

In recognition of October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month members of our team took part in Purple Thursday. On this day, professional staff and non-uniformed officers wore purple clothing to honor victims and support survivors of domestic violence. Many uniformed officers also wore purple ribbon pins. This, and the other initiatives CPD has taken part in during Domestic Violence Awareness Month were coordinated by the dedicated members of our Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Unit.
