    An employee of a Technology Sq business reported a suspect had stolen $10 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

    Police responded to a Cedar St. residence for the report of a past assault and battery. The reporting party stated an individual who is known to them had attacked them outside their residence. No injuries were reported.

    Josette Roy, 45, unhoused and James Vaughn, 42, unhoused, were placed under arrest at a Porter Sq. business after a store employee reported they'd attempted to steal over $500 in merchandise. It was learned that Roy had twelve (12) warrants out of courts in Stoughton, Dedham, Cambridge, Brookline, and Newton. Vaughn was found to have three (3) active warrants out of courts in Stoughton, Brookline, and Dedham.
