    ELLSWORTH AVE
    A Cambridge Resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Crash with Property Damage and Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Police responded to Ellsworth Ave on a report that a vehicle had struck several parked cars and fled. The involved vehicle was later located on Green Street.

    Police took a report for a past larceny at a Cambridgepark Drive residence. The victim stated someone stole multiple items, including jewelry, clothing, and a video game system while they were moving. The victim estimated the value of the stolen items to be $5850.

    Police were dispatched to the block of 2200 Mass Ave for the report of a shoplifting. Store employee reported that a repeat shoplifter had attempted to steal cheese. Officers were able to identify the individual, they were formally trespassed by the business.

    George Ryan, 45, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on charges of Possession of a Class B Drug and Receiving Stolen Property +$1200. Officers stopped Ryan after observing him place suspected crack cocaine into a glass pipe and attempt to smoke it. During the stop it was learned the scooter in Ryan's possession had been reported stolen in California.
