    Police responded to Third Street for a report of a fare evasion from a taxicab. Reporting person stated they drove a couple from the airport to this address, the pair then exited the cab with their luggage and did not pay the $31 fare.

    A Malden resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Armed Robbery. Police responded to Cogswell Ave after a postal worker reported a suspect had stolen packages they'd just delivered. When confronted by the postal worker, the suspect swung a cane at them. Officers were later able to stop and identify the suspect.

    Ibrahima Barry, 21, of Boston was arrested on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation. An employee of a Central Sq. business reported that Barry had stolen multiple items with a retail value of $100 and attempted to flee the store.

    Jason Nee, 40, of Dorchester, and John Mastromarino, 54, of Malden were placed under arrest on charges related to package thefts on Cogswell Ave. It was learned that the pair had worked together to steal multiple packages from residential buildings in the area. Nee was also found to have eight (8) active warrants out of courts in Boston, Taunton, New Bedford, and Plymouth.
